ABOUT
Ricky Finch is currently working on a Masters in Composition Rhetoric and Digital Media at Nova Southeastern University
His research incorporates Writing Center Writing Fellows into the Online Composition Classroom. He is developing a model which uses synchronous communication to engage students in online classrooms.
Ricky enjoys baseball, hockey, and woodcarving.

MA COMPOSITION RHETORIC AND DIGITAL MEDIA NOVA SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY
At Nova, Ricky is currently working on his Master's degree. Course work includes teaching writing, composition theory, and multimodality. He is also working to design an Online Composition Fellows program for the Writing and Communication Center

At Lipscomb, Ricky earned his bachelor degree in English. It was here that he was introduced to Writing Centers where he worked as a consultant and student administrator. While at Lipscomb, he presented a variety of academic and creative work at several conferences.

At Nashville State, Ricky earned an Associate in English and Political Science. His involvement in the Nashville State community earned him the Student Leader of the Year award in May 2016
